Joe, the feeling is indescribable as I write this Homage to you. How far we’ve both come over the last few years…and it feels like we’re really just beginning the journey. I have so much respect for the human being you are — not just as my friend but as a passionate “embracer” of all things good. You are empathetic, knowledgeable and downright witty. The way you lay it out there on sports and music is particularly awesome…even though you’re a Jets and Mets fan. I will live with it, homey. Your radness most definitely way outshines your poor taste in NY sports teams.
In all seriousness, this Homage is yours because you have endured so much…and through it all, you’ve managed to lift me up so many times. You have no idea what your friendship has meant throughout the years. Through working together or merely talking trash at lunch and catching up about the family…Joe, you’ve been a lifesaver. You’ve helped me keep my sanity. There’s never been a request you’ve said no to. You’ve been a steadfast companion in good times and bad. You are all the things a friend embodies, and for that, I am forever grateful to you.
The next chapter of life is going to be so badass, dude. You have so much to look forward to and most definitely well-deserved after the long 18 months you’ve been on the sidelines. You’ve earned everything that’s come your way, and now it’s your time to shine. You have a sharp mind and amazing character, Simonovich. You’re going to rock this new venture like no other, and I am humbled and honored to watch you as you start this journey. To the victor go the spoils…and you, my friend, have earned the spoils IN SPADES! I couldn’t be happier for you and your family.
In closing, dude, this was very special to have you on. To be able to celebrate the partnering of Homage and the Craft Beer brand is something that I’m so excited to be able to call a part of this series moving forward. You’ve created something really awesome, and it’s humbling to have it represented here. My hope for you, my friend, is sincere happiness and continued tenacity to achieve.
