Behind The Seams
May 23rd marked the 7th annual Behind The Seams Fashion Show, and DSM was happy to work alongside Sal Lauretta for Men and the Bottagra Restaurant to make it possible!
Filled with a night of fashion, prizes and fun, what really lays “behind the seams” is the charitable aspect of the event. Ran by Eva’s Village, an anti-poverty organization based in Paterson, NJ, it was created to provide food, shelter and other recovery services for those in need.
The event has become more popular each year, making it no surprise that the Behind the Seams Fashion Show hosted 380 guests and raised a record-breaking $155,000!
The Fashion
Attendees arrived at the event showcasing their unique styles. The DSM team (pictured below) had a great time sporting their own fashionable looks!
The Prizes
Along with the satisfaction of helping a good cause, guests did not leave empty handed. The event came with many generous prizes which were auctioned off in a silent auction. For those who weren’t able to snag an auctioned prize, everyone was supplied with a gift bag containing donations from the hosts.

The main event was the fashion show where models walked the runway to display some of the hottest Sal Lauretta for Men, Robert Graham and Boutique 811 styles.
Excitement ensued when the models found themselves accompanied by guest appearances. Alongside DSM’s very own Darren Magarro, there were appearances made by local celebrities, professional boxer Caleb Hernandez and MMA star Jimmie Rivera. While they commonly find success in the ring, they proved that they were just as talented on stage by sporting styles from the latest Spring and Summer collections of the designers.
A HUGE Selection Of Food
The Bottagra Restaurant was able to supply a great atmosphere and amazing food. The staff made it possible for all of the guests to experience a night of fine dining.

The night didn’t only bring fun and entertainment to everyone present, but the donations collected will allow Eva’s Village to bring health and happiness to those who need it the most.
